Thank you for inquiring about Southwest Homes. We realize that building a new home is a major decision, and we appreciate your consideration of us as your builder.
To help you in making your final decision on your choice of builders, we would like to give you the following information about who we are:
Southwest homes started building custom home in Bryan/College Station in 1984 and we have built over 700 homes. We have some customers for whom we have built 2nd, 3rd and even 4th homes and we will be happy to provide you with a reference list of our customers.
We carry all the insurance on our construction projects including: Workmen's Compensation and Builder's Risk Insurance and
General Liability Insurance
The General Liability Insurance is especially important to you as the property owner. Only builders with a proven track record and solid financial condition are able to obtain general liability insurance.
If your home is being built outside a municipal area, we contract with a licensed independent inspection service to inspect the construction of your home and give written inspection reports to assure you that your home is being built to the highest standards and within the international residential code.
We are members in good standing of the following organizations:
- The Better Business Bureau
- The Bryan/College Station Homebuilders Association
- The Texas Association of Builders
- The National Association of Builders
- The Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce
- Registered Builder with the TRCC (Registration #9931)
Our Company President has served as Director and/or President of the local, state and national Homebuilders Associations.
